Country Roads Dance Academy

Offers classes and performance opportunities in classical ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, theatre dance, hip hop, lyrical/contemporary, and Irish step dance at the pre-school through pre-professional levels. Classes taught for over 30 years at the Crosswicks Community House at 480 Main Street in the Village of Crosswicks, New Jersey. Click here for a map.

The joy of expressing oneself through music and movement is stressed as well as the technique which fine-tunes a dancer’s body. We believe dancing is for everyone and should be an uplifting, fun experience.

Year-End Performance

Country Roads Dance Academy does not stage a long, costly recital. We DO have a beautiful and magical Year-End Performance held at the Crosswicks Community House. Our dance space is quite large with a stage set at the far end. This enables our students to feel at ease as they perform in the space they are so familiar with. It is important to us that our dancers feel excitement and delight as they come in for their special performance. We DO transform the building into an enchanted place with beautiful decorations and lights. Costuming is not elaborate or expensive. We DO add costume parts to our existing dancewear (i.e. Lammies – tutus and ears; Fairies – wings, dance skirt, crown; Red Riding Hoods – hood & basket). Young dancers are joined on stage by their teacher, to provide an experience that is supportive and fun, rather than stressful. We DO NOT charge admission to this performance. We often accept donations to a charity that is close to our heart. We believe our Year-End Performance is filled with MAGIC!
